Carolus is currently developing a RANTES-PF4 antagonist, CT-2008, that has already shown promising results in preclinical models of cardiovascular disease and pulmonary inflammation. Carolus expects to file an IND application for CT-2008 by the first quarter of 2012.
Carolus has also generated a focused library of perspective antagonist peptides of the MIF signaling complex and developed a test funnel to identify molecules with antagonist activity. To date, we’ve identified a collection of peptides from various target domains of MIF for further optimization and development. Carolus expects to identify lead candidates by the first quarter of 2011.
